Galliott Studios is located at 10 Water Street in Woody Point.
The studio is the little red and yellow building on the ocean side of the Woody Point turn! Keep an eye out, for it is easy to pass as you drive by fish trucks, parked cars and wonderful summer chaos!
About the Studio: Galliott Studios is a coffee shop and pottery art studio, housed in a 100 year old fishing shed. Find homemade treats, non dairy and gluten free options, as well as a great wharf and friendly staff. TV shows such as “Land and Sea” as well as “Still Standing” provide sneak peaks of the shop.
About the Artist: Owner Jennifer Galliott has an educational background in both art and electrical.
How does Gros Morne inspire your creativity? Everything from fishing to trades work can be found in my current pottery collections. I enjoy sketching the “mundane” and incorporating the sketches into lovely coffee mugs and other functional art.
What can visitors expect during Open Studio Days? A special draw for a pottery piece.
