Are you a tour guide who would like to sharpen your storytelling skills?
Would you like to learn some techniques to more effectively engage with your guests?
Do you have stories that you would like to develop and share with visitors?
If you answered YES to either of these questions, then this Introduction to Storytelling for Tour Guides Workshop is for you!
About the workshop:
Storytelling is an art and everyone has a story to tell! Through instruction and exercises, workshop participants will learn the basics of storytelling, including the various types of stories and how to select, learn and perform them. Participants will work with a story of their own choosing. If you are up for writing your own stories, some of these classic techniques will help you understand what makes a great story and support you in crafting tales of your own. Links to online resources and materials for exercises will be provided.
