Alex Mogus as the Guide and Shelby Genge as Beth
Students from the Gros Morne Academy drama club recently traveled to St. John’s to showcase their production of Don Zolidis’s “OZ” as part of the 38th School Theatre Arts Festival at the LSPU Hall.
Gros Morne Academy earned the spot at the provincial festival by winning the award for best production at the Regional Drama Festival in Pasadena.
“OZ” was well received at the festival earning a warm review in the Telegram:
“The tale is engagingly enacted, with strong production values: highly colourful and imaginative costumes, sets and props, with sharp set-changing and lighting effects.” Telegram
