Festival season in Gros Morne has begun!
The 8th Trails, Tales and Tunes festival opened Friday evening with an art exhibition from the League of Artists of Western Newfoundland (LAWN), music from Jeff Quilty and a Town Hall concert featuring Gros Morne’s own Daniel and Stephanie Payne, Mike MacDonald, Michael Fracasso and the Sultans of String.
The ten day festival has plenty to offer. With daily hikes, music and stories all in venues all over town there is something for everyone. Celebrate the Sea day at the Bonne Bay Marine Station was a huge success with waterfront activities for all ages and warm sunny weather.
You may have missed some of the fabulous talent and activities, but there is plenty more happening through the week and over the coming weekend. Check out the full schedule on the TTT website.
The LAWN exhibition can be viewed at Neddies Harbour Inn and Sugar Hill Inn throughout the festival.
