The Bonne Bay Marine Station is a dominant feature of the Norris Point waterfront. Known as a world-class research and teaching facility dedicated to expanding knowledge of marine ecology, the station offers services to students, researchers, educators and the community. Its popularity with visitors is not limited to its aquarium and interpretative programs, however.
The station has been a host to cultural events such as Trails, Tales and Tunes and to the Bonne Bay Marine Station Artist in Residence program. A regular partner in community events, the Bonne Bay Marine Station is committed to engaging with the local and regional community in tangible ways which complement its value to the region and the province as a research station.
At the end of the November, they will play host to the latest festival in Gros Morne National Park, the People and the Sea Film Festival.
